About Us

Heritage Boat Charters is one of the longest-running, locally owned and operated deep-sea fishing charter businesses in Guam. Founded by Captain Carlos Quinata, our company is built on a deep respect for the ocean and a lifelong passion for fishing. With a team of experienced fishing guides, we strive to make your experience exceptional.

Raised on the shores of Guam, our founder Carlos honed his skills as a Peskadot (fisherman) from an early age, learning to fish not only as a livelihood but as a way of life. His experience as a commercial fisherman took him to the abundant banks surrounding Guam, where he mastered the art of catching a variety of fish species. As Guam’s tourism industry grew, Carlos recognized the need for an authentic, local perspective on ocean adventures. He founded Heritage Boat Charters to share the beauty of our Pacific waters and the thrill of deep-sea fishing with visitors and locals alike.

Our Fleet

Each boat is fully equipped with top-quality fishing gear, so all you need to bring is your excitement for the open water!

  • MV Dorado – A sturdy 40' Bluewater vessel, built to handle long-range trips to the banks south of Guam
  • MV Heritage – A 36.5' Sea Hawk boat, equally reliable and seaworthy for deep-sea adventures
  • Looking for a more relaxed experience? We also offer a family-friendly snorkeling tour at the coral reef just outside Agat Marina, where you can explore Guam’s vibrant marine life.
Fishing Experiences

Catch Limit Policy
Each guest is allowed to take home up to 100 lbs of cleaned fish. Your captain will clean and bag the loins of your catch into gallon-sized Ziplock bags (approximately six bags per 100 lbs). The remaining fish will go to the captain and crew as part of their effort to ensure your incredible fishing experience.

Family-Friendly Excursions
Our leisurely 2-hour cruise is designed for all ages. You’ll have the chance to snorkel, chase dolphins, or simply soak in the stunning views. We accommodate up to six passengers per trip.

Dive Charters for Experienced Divers

Experience Guam’s stunning underwater world with the freedom to explore at your own pace! If you're a certified diver looking for a boat charter, we offer dive trips led by a knowledgeable captain.

  • Single, double, or triple tank dives available
  • Must provide your own dive gear
What to Expect on Your Trip
  • Experienced Captains – Our charters are led by USCG-certified boat captains
  • Safety First – Our vessels are equipped with USCG-regulated life-saving devices, including EPIRBs
  • All Fishing Gear Provided – Rods, reels, bait, hooks, and coolers for your catch
  • What to Bring: Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, drinks, and snacks. Alcohol is permitted at your discretion
Departure Locations & Schedule

Our charters launch from Agana Marina (near Chamorro Village) and Agat Marina (near Marina Grill).

  • Morning Departures: Between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
  • Afternoon Departures: Between 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
